The “Gilmore Girls” revival series is set to rock TV sets after a long-long break and the makers are putting in all their efforts to bring back the original star cast of this hit show from the 2000s. After months of speculations, it has been confirmed that Mae Whitman will appear on the show for a cameo. With this update, both the daughters of the lead actress, Lauren Graham, who essayed Lorelai Gilmore in “Gilmore Girls” are set to set to appear in the new series.

While it was previously announced that Alexis Bledel (Rory Gilmore) has been roped in to play the role of Lorelai’s daughter, it is now said that Mae Whitman will team up again with Graham for “Gilmore Girls.” Interestingly, Whitman played the role of Amber Holt in “Parenthood” for six seasons. Could it be a coincidence that both of Graham’s on-screen daughters from separate shows are now coming together for this series?

It has been reported by TV Line that Whitman will join “Gilmore Girls” for a brief cameo . The 27-year-old actress has worked in some of the most loved TV series including “Parenthood” and “Arrested Development” and has even starred in Hollywood flicks like “Scott Pilgrim vs. The World” and “The Perks of Being A Wallflower”.
