It has been nearly a decade since they played the famous mother-daughter duo.
And on Friday Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel reunited for the premiere of their Netflix revival Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life in Los Angeles.
The 35-year-old actress who played Rory Gilmore stunned in a chic ruffled gown while Lauren opted for a skintight cocktail dress.

Those in the running for this year’s Emmys will hear their names read by a Gilmore mom and a black-ish dad.
Lauren Graham and Anthony Anderson will announce the nominees on Thursday, July 14, per The Hollywood Reporter.
The event will take place at 11:30/10:30c at the Saban Media Center in North Hollywood. This is the second year that the ceremony will happen at 8:30 am local time, instead of its previous 5:30 start.
Anderson was nominated last year for his portrayal of Dre in the ABC comedy. Gilmore Girls‘ Graham, as we recently noted, has never been nominated.

“Television is enjoying the most spectacular run in its history with breakthrough creativity, emerging platforms and dynamic new opportunities for our industry’s storytellers,” Bruce Rosenblum, Television Academy chairman and CEO, said in a statement obtained by THR. “We are thrilled to have Anthony and Lauren on board to help kick-off what promises to be an extraordinary Emmy season.”

It’s been nearly a decade since we first met the Gilmore girls, but looking at Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel, it’s hard to tell any time has passed.

“Alexis hasn’t started aging yet,” Graham, 49, jokes with PEOPLE in its World’s Most Beautiful special issue.

“I certainly have!” retorts Bledel, 34, with a smile.

The only thing more exciting than the idea of new Gilmore Girls episodes is actually WATCHING THEM. The revival is currently in production right now, and once that wraps, it’s only a matter of time before the series makes its way back into our lives again. But the big question is still when?

Netflix — and the crew of Gilmore Girls — has been mum so far as to when these episodes might end up on the streaming site. Could be early Summer, could be sometime in the Fall, might even be sometime in 2017. Or, they could all land during Lorelai Gilmore’s favorite season, Winter.

And according to Lauren Graham, it sounds, tentatively, that’s exactly when they’re going to drop. During one of the latest episodes of the Gilmore Guys Podcast (it’s a thing), their guest, Ben Epstein, explains that he happened to run into Graham out in Hollywood, and asked her some tough questions. Like, when will our eyes be able to see these four new episodes? From what Graham relays to Epstein, and if we’re going to go off of what Graham says, which is basically true and canon no matter what, the episodes will be available to stream ~sometime~ in December.

This is still a huge question mark, because no one has confirmed this whatsoever. But, THIS MAKES SENSE. The revival was announced back in October, went into true production in January, and we don’t want to rush this great work of Gilmore art. December gives everyone enough time to get all affairs in Luke’s Diner straight.

The date is by no means confirmed by Netflix, or even Amy Sherman-Palladino. But we like the idea of December a lot. Only eight months away!

Yay! I was able to add stills of Gilmore Girls. The new season is called “Seasons”. Check out these amazing new stills in the gallery.
